Snow {I just might be happy}

                                                         So I wake up and first thought......are you serious!!!

Snow!  I wake up to snow and little Maggie looking at me as if I am some crazy fur mommy sending her out in this white stuff....as if she forgot last winter and the winter before when we got her.  I do have to say, her first winter was full of fun watching her five pound little self dig her way through the snow!  But having an all white pup makes it hard to find her in all the fluffy stuff!!!
Did I jinx the weather yesterday?  I had the day off and spent the whole day with Christmas music on and getting all my winter decorations out.  I was in full winter mood yesterday!  Only thing left is to get a tree up!  Or should I say if Maggie can stay out of the tree this year I will have one up!  She gets in the tree as if she is a cat!  Maggie and Sarah both thinks it's so fun to swing their tail and knock things off the tree and bat them around like toys!

I can see Maggie doing this!

Don't get me wrong..... I love the snow and winter...Just hate to drive in it!

Good thing with the snow making it's way in Ohio ...is that I no longer have a fair weather mustang to drive many miles to the office...Yea for a great car.
Sad note: I miss having my mustang!!   Even after Ms. Sally the stang slid me 22 feet down off the freeway...I still miss her.

So to you Great White Death.....Bring it on!

Problem fixed?

Good Tuesday morning all.   I think...maybe I might have fixed a
problem.   You see my little Maggie has been on some bad bad dog food!!  When I say bad...it's like 12-15 dollars for a 50 pound bag!  Yep you heard me right....Old Yeller!!!  I know I know it's the worst food for ANY dog! It was even recalled at one point and pulled from the shelves!  Oh I am such a bad fur mother....
 But I don't get it for my girls by choice!  My husband would get their food and tell me "it's fine and how Sarah has been on it for ever and she has lived 12 + years so it's not that bad!"  Well what ever hubby haha.  Poor Maggie has been eating at her paws for so long and would start to bleed a little.  No matter what I did to make her feel better like oatmeal bath or put socks on her paws to keep her from chewing.  Her paws still bothered her.  So I made a switch to see if it was a reaction to the food she was on.  She has always had sensitive skin...even when she was just 5 weeks old.  So far it's been two days and she has been chewing paws less and relaxing more...well my fingers are crossed and hopes that this will help with her skin reaction to the old food.
After spend a while at the pet store with my mother and reading all the labls and talking to a few people.  I have realized how Maggie's old food was just so bad for her...Heck it wasn't even food at all.  She infact knows how much good this new food is...she goes crazy for it...more like bonkers for her new food.
