So what's been on my mond....Adoption!
My husband have been talking about adopting for a few years now.  Why?  Well we found out years back shortley after we got married that I had endometriosis, severe enough that at a young age I would have a total hysterctomy and knew that we would never beable to have children on our own.  It was a hard time for us both but we came to the thought of adoption as a better option for ourselves and that wonderful child that was in need of a family.  There is so much to know and learn about adoption and so many worries that come with it. I know my parents are waiting on us to start adopting and are willing to help.  My husband and I are just at a stand still of not knowing what to do or how to start.  I do get people to ask why we don't start with foster care?  No, I have nothing aginst foster care nor am I a snob that just don't want to deal with foster care.  All children needs a family.  But we want that one  and first child to be a first.  A first at every moment.  The first word,crawl,smile and all the other first that come along with having a baby.  Once we get that oppertunity we will open our door to foster care.  How does adoption work?  How do we get started?  How can we make this dream of ours come true?  He and I have heard of so many stories of how easy it is and how some have just landed in the right place at the right time.  We are ready to find that love with open heart!  What do you know about adoption?  Any advice we are open to!
