This whole cancer hits home hard. As I have mentioned before here . I have learned to hate that word! But being aware of the whole ugly thing can help find a cure. I can't even count on my fingers and toes of the woman i know that have or still are going through breast cancer.
Know that it is something that can be detected early. So get your butt on the move and get checked...check yourself to!!!
We all know what breast cancer is and how to check for it.
But did you know....Lifestyle! Yup your lifestyle is what can/could put you at risk. Diet,obestity,alcohol regurarly(more than one drink a day) and smoking.
I am guilty of all!! Ahh I got it out there. Yes I am guily of it all..the diet..the drinking more than one drink a day and SMOKING!
With that being said...I have become more aware of the high risk factors and what can increase that risk! Yes, I should have and did know alcohol will and does increase the risk...and Dah I knew smoking peroid was bad all around!
Will I be making life changes? Yes!!! All the way around YES! Will it take time? It should not, but one step at a time. I know I know excuses EXCUSES! I am getting there one step at a time! Knowing my father just QUIT smoking whoop whoop!!So proud of him! He gives me the power to know that I can to. I mean come on a man that has smoked his whole life( -12 yeas as a child) then I can DO IT TO! I know I can. What does it mean? I go on a detox! Detox from drinking,smoking and bad foods! And lets face it...I don't have to time my day around of "when can I get that smoke in or do I want a cocktail now?"
Best part will be getting my father-inlaw off my back about smoking and all the other Ex smokers off my back as well!!!! Good Golly that will be the best part about quiting!!!
So the point to all of this is..........Watch what we put in out bodies.....
