We left early in the morning for the 6 hour drive to Lancaster PA. The morning was just absolutely breath taking. All the trees were in the color change and full of bright beautiful colors!!! Oh and to pay 18.00$ for the PA toll WTH really 18.00$. So here I am with a bag full of quarters thinking a toll would be like 4-5 bucks! I am sure the guy at the tool was cracking up about my bag of quarters as wrote a "check" out to pass go. Anyway....back to the drive. The color change was soAMAZING! By time we got in to Lancaster it was a nice 80 degrees!!!

Yes she is using a gas power leaf blower! It was crazy how we had to sneak up at a low speed and snap a picture of the Amish people and speed off fast! The Amish are not to have pictures....A few that saw me with a camera would turn away fast. They know the English come to see the area and take tours. BUT a picture is forbidden in the ordngun rules! We learned a lot about how they do things, they did not have a "Church". Church is held at a home each Sunday and last for hours. They take tuns having church in one family home to another. They prep homes all day Saturday for the long Church service on Sunday.
We did shop a little and walk around the town....yep I got candles!

On our way home we got stuck in a BIG I mean BIG rain Storm. The rain was coming down so fast and with high winds. People were pulling off the road like cat's and dog's! My husband to pull off the road,nope he kept on trucking! I just sat back and freaked out! But an hour later and we are at full speed again and talking about our day in the Amish area. All my husband could talk about was the smell of the horse pooh everywhere! LOL I was cracking up. He took his new Veloster and was trying so hard to miss the piles of turds on the roads. But every road we drove down had pooh all over it....dah ....there transpertation does not leak OIL it drops pooh!
We got home at 3am and what a long day it was!
